Change of Life Plans

So I would always complain to my dad about how I have to make all of the major life decisions right now when I am only 19... My dad said, Ya it is hard, but look at the positive. You can change your life plans in the blink of an eye, and your not behind or too far in to something so you cannot quit. I don't know if that makes sense, but it was a crazy thing to think about.
well.... guess what!? I changed all of my life plans! surprise!!! (well no surprise because i am known for being ridiculously indecisive) anyways.... I know that you can't wait to see what I am going to do next.... maybe
So Weber State is out of the picture. Their website was super confusing, and I had a hard time finding out about the information that I needed. So, I started to sign up for classes and I realized that it would take me another year to finish all of the prerequisites before I could even get in to the program. I then realized that my year at SUU and all of the college classes that I took in high school did not help me at all and I would have to start all over. Instead of being ahead, I was behind in school. HECK NO!! I am not going to stand for that. So I was super cranky and kind of (completely) freaking out when my mom decided to talk to me. We started to go over the things that I want to do with my life, and I decided that I wanted to change my major. ta da! I realized that I either wanted to go to the U of U or return to SUU. The U of U didn't work out, so... (hard to believe) I am going back to Cedar City in the fall.... yay? uhhhh
I know you care so I am writing down my vague life plan... ish
I have three semesters left at SUU, (Fall 2010, Spring 2011, Fall 2011) and then I will graduate with my Bachelor's Degree in exercise science and a minor in coaching (maybe). I graduate the week after I turn 21. and then I will have a few months to make money. My mom suggested a European trip during this time and I am very tempted. Then, I am totally going on a mission! too cool!! I would get home 18 months later and apply for school again. I want to get a Masters degree ( but I don't know what it will be... I'll figure it out eventually) (maybe) and! I want to be certified in massage therapy. I have thought about it a few times over the years and Chelsea mentioned it... and I thought that it could be a very viable option for me. so ya...... I have a feeling that this plan is not very permenant at all. But at least I have more than the next few months of my future planned out (ish) so ya... the end
So hackin Adam will finally come back to Utah in two and a half weeks. AND! Dani left to go to Germany for two weeks last Saturday. So now officially most of my friends are scattered around the world right now. ugh. O ya! and murray park flooded last night so my lifeguarding hours might be cut down a bit until they clean it all up. Working with my dad is totally killer. We are fixing up a house and roofing. It is hard work, but it makes the time go by quickly. so ya....
Chelsea has inspired me again because of her blog. She wrote a few random things about herself and I thought it was really funny so I thought I would try it out and see if it is as fun as she says it is.
1.I hackin' love action movies (but I secretly like chick flicks) [except not the stupid chick flicks!]
2.I stole a cool ringtone from Darin and I wait around for someone to text me, just so I can hear it go off.
3. crunchy peanut butter and brown sugar on wheat bread is what I live for!!!
4.I am so worried about my future, I sometimes forget the present
5. My fettish right now is 12 dollar watches from Walmart.
Well, I am going to go shave my cat now. (your jealous)

The Best Weekend Of My Life (so far)

An Idea:
So last Sunday I was texting Adam (he is in San Diego in infantry training) and I mentioned that Dani and I wanted to come on a road trip to California. We thought that it would be fun to visit him during our trip. Adam says that this weekend or memorial day weekend would be the best times to come visit so we thought it would be cool to go the next weekend. So I get a hold of Dani and she says that she could probably go. Her dad is coming back from the middle east next week, but she would be home in time. So we tell adam that we are coming.
The planning:
Dani and I realize we have like two days to plan this sudden road trip to California. We had never seriously talked about going until now. Dani had totaled her car before and she had a rental car. We decided to take her Yaris to california. We named it Zippy because it was just ... really cool. So we just planned in two days and bought some food.
Wednesday Night:
Dani and I pack all of our stuff in this little car, and we take off wednesday night. Dani forgets her purse so we have to backtrack, but that helped us miss rush hour. We drove for four hours to St. George. We stayed the night in Dani's grandparents house. It was empty and really nice pit stop. We went straight to bed that night and woke up early in the morning to mow the lawn and finish the drive to California.
Thursday:
We woke up and drove. The drive was fine. I drove through the Mojave Desert and into California. We got stopped at the border for carrying fruit, but luckily the oranges were originally from California. The dude was really rude about it cuz we didnt know whether he was signalling us to stop or to keep driving. He meant stop so we almost got in trouble. Dani was nervous so she insisted on driving while we were in California. and I dont blame her. They drive very differently over there. So we make it to Fallbrook, California. it is just east of Camp Pendleton, we are staying at Dani's cousins house. He was at Disneyland so we got his house to ourselves. We got there in the afternoon and we watched Lord of the Rings while Dani tried to fax something to her new work. We went to get Mexican food and we went and slept on Dave's (Dani's cousin) couches.
Friday:
We wake up the next morning and I went on a run around the neighborhood. I hackin went running forever, but i finally found my way back. I shower, but then they decided that we wanted to go to the beach. We drive an hour to Oceanside beach and we sit on the beach. It was beautiful, but the water was cold. We head home, and we got caught in some traffic. Dani and I decided to go to her cousin's lacrosse game. Adam got off early and he wanted us to come get him. He also informs us that he wants to bring a fellow marine along. His name is Jonah Nelsen and he is also from Utah. We hurry to the base, and Dani's military ID gets us onto the base. We got a little lost on the base and Dani got a little frustrated, but we finally found our way to Adam's place. We met Jonah and he was really cool. It was super awkward because Dani and I were like the only girls in sight. Haha, it was super bad, but we pack up in the car. Dani and I brought too much stuff and Adam and Jonah had to really squish in the back... oops. So we head up to Los Angeles. We were supposed to stay in Adam's cousins three million dollar beach house, but jeremy had accidentally double booked the house and so Jeremy booked us a hotel called Shutters. We finally make it there thanks to the miracle called GPS, but we just named her JJ. I would like to give a shout out to gps. I dont know how people did road trips without them. JJ and I grew very close. The gps and I became one, I spent many hours looking at that thing. It saved our lives!! Well we get to L.A. and make it to the hotel, and we pull in and they automatically valet park the car. We kind of are confused and we walk in and the hotel is so super fancy! We have duffel bags and pillows and everyone else is all dressed up and wealthy. We must have been a pretty comical sight to those people. We get to our rooms and they are so nice. We come to find out that this is one of the best hotels in L.A. (thank you Jeremy!) Adam mentions that David is in California so we give him a call. He says that he is recording at a friends house. We realize that he is also in Santa Monica and he is like five minutes away. We head over there and we came to the cutest house. David is still recording when we get there so we hang out with the other people there. They were so interesting to talk to and they were a little drunk. We talk for a couple hours and it is like midnight when David finally finishes recording. We go in to this way cool studio in the backyard and listen to his new song. It was really inspiring and good. We were talking, and they asked if we would snap and clap for the song. So we did, haha we were not very good but it didn't matter. And then they wanted us to be back up singers for the chorus. we thought it was a joke but they were serious. They got everyone to join in and sing with us, and then they doubled the track. We didnt sound very good but we were put in the song and it sounded awesome. We had so much fun together. By this time, it was like three in the morning. The boys had been up for almost 22 hours. We were all exhausted. Danielle said that if they use our voices and the song got big... we would get paid royalties.. hahahaha! we went to the hotel and went to sleep.
Saturday:
We slept in the next day and woke up to go out on the beach path. We borrowed Jeremy's segways and took them for a ride. It was so much fun. I had strained my calf running so i was kind of a gimp. We saw all of the shops and Dani did some shopping. Adam, Dani, David, and I went to the L.A. temple in the afternoon. Jonah stayed home because he didnt have his recommend with him. He napped, because he was so tired. He seemed to sleep everywhere that we went. It was really funny. The temple was beautiful! we had a great time. Adam baptized us, but the font was really shallow so I felt really bad for Adam. I was too tall. oops. We still had a great time though. We came back to the hotel and brought David back with us. We walked up to the pier and rode the ferris wheel. It was so much fun and the view was great. The ferris wheel was great and i think that it was the best part. We walked down the streets looking for a good place to eat afterwards. We finally found a place to eat at Buddha's Belly. It was delicious! We had a great time, and then we headed back to the hotel. Jonah, Adam, and Dani had to return the segways to Jeremy's house so David and I went to a cafe to get hot chocolate while they were gone. The cafe was great, and we came back and went to sleep because we were so tired.
Sunday:
David wanted to come to church with us so we had to make room for him in the Yaris... we were checking out of our hotel so we had to fit all of our luggage and five people in the car. You may think that is impossible, but false... we did it. We found a ward to go to, and we went. It was a great service. Adam and Jonah started to doze off, but they stayed awake...mostly. It was hilarious when every time that Dani looked at Adam, he would jerk awake. We called it her piercing glare. it was really funny to watch. Well after church, we had to drop off David on the way back to Camp Pendleton. We were running short on time so his aunt had to pick him up from the exit that we left him at. This whole drive i had David's luggage and a sleeping bag on my lap. We were really cramped in the car. I felt bad for the three boys sitting in the back seat... oops. We get back to Camp Pendleton with time to spare, so we drive through the base to get to a Subway. We ate and started to drive back. We almost hit a squirrel and Dani and I flipped. We made it there safely and said our goodbyes. Dani and I drove down to San Diego to stay with her aunt. We were so tired that night that we just watched tv and then went to bed at nine. We slept for almost twelve hours.
Monday:
We slept in, but as soon as we woke up, we got ready to leave. Dani and I decided that we were going to drive the entire way home today, so we did not have to sleep in St. George again. We started our drive, and finally got out of the city. We then started to listen to the second half of the seventh harry potter book on cd to keep us preoccupied. I drove to St. George, and then Dani finished the drive home with one of the less interesting pit stops at her Grandparents house. We arrived home at 11:30. and that concluded one of the best and craziest weekends I have ever experienced. I am grateful that we were safe, and it was amazing how everything seemed to work out perfectly.

SPRING TIME 2010!

Spring is here, but Cedar City weather is bipolar, so do not fear, It is totally snowing right now... o my heck. I haven't blogged in forever... dang. I think Cedar City has some weird time warp problem. The time seems to go by so fast and slow at the same time... how does that even work?! I have been a little preoccupied in the last month or so. Okay I am going to split all of this crap up so i can remember it all.

Shawn and Chelsea's wedding was absolutely amazing! we had a blast. The reception was beautiful. I was a bridesmaid and got a cute dress. Chelsea is a hackin' designer chick! She is totally planning my wedding... (We should probably say "if" i have a wedding because my boy rate at the moment and since forever has been a big fat 0) haha i guess we shall see. It doesnt help that most of the guys in cedar are gay, married, or have no personal hygiene. hmmm Well anyways, I have a story related to the wedding. So I parked in a parking garage in salt lake when we went to the temple and after they got married i went back to my car with my siblings. When we try to get out of the garage there is no person there to take my ticket. I find out that it is an automatic one and it only takes Visa... are you kidding I only have a Discover card! So i back out and call my bro for help, but of course. The machine had already taken my ticket and wouldnt give it back.... crap. no money or ticket. And it says there is a fifteen dollar lost ticket fee. O MY! My brother comes and we call for help. ( you would think I would have this whole parking garage thing down because that is what i did during christmas break but no... i dont) but this guy comes and just lets us out of the garage for free... I had been stranded for an hour in the garage so i didnt get my nap.... i was pissed. i went and got my hair done(which was so cute) and headed straight for the reception. Dani and Adam came and i was so excited to see them! We had tons of fun and they were so nice and helped the family clean up afterwards. So the wedding day went well and dandy.

I have officially transferred to Weber State University. I will be going there in the Fall. O ya!!! and i got a full tuition scholarship because of my grades. Score! I am glad that i won't be three hours away now. And dont even ask me about where i am going to live because i have no clue... crap. and i need to figure out classes too. Weber's website is so totally confusing!! grrrrr hopefully i will find someone who will tell what to do. I finally figured out how SUU works and now i have to start all over with Weber. (kinda hackin frustrating) not only this but i have to figure out where i am going to get the money for this whole college thing... I plan to help my dad roof, but i am not much help and honestly,... it kinda sucks ( and it is even worse in the hot summer time) I feel so useless and weak compared to the guys. It pays really well and I am desperate for a job. O ya and i got my lifeguarding job back. yes! The new boss is different from lindsay. He had me come in for a full, legitimate interview... it was crazy weird. Well I got the job so now hopefully these two jobs will keep me busy during the summer. O ya and I am going to run the Bryce Canyon Half Marathon on July 17th. i am so excited!! Shawn is going to run it with me (hopefully, he is in the honeymoon phase so he isnt that dependable right now) ahah o ya! Dani and I are planning a road trip this summer... Sweet! i am soooo hacking excited. we are such deviants muhahaha. Adam wants us to come visit him cuz he is down there for infantry camp, but we shall see where the wild california winds take us... ? (hey, im confused and i am the one writing it..) I also got the crazy idea to hike the grand canyon rim to rim, now i just have to find someone who is willing to do it with me... that could be a problem.

Southern Utah University........ yep. finals are next week. I have five finals, but one is a movie I am making with three other girls. We based it on the show: A thousand ways to die. But we substituted shakespearean deaths so I hope that it will turn out well. We are putting it on Youtube soon so you can totally watch it and make fun of me pretending to be hackin King Lear. o boy. All the rest of the tests are going to be normal tests.. bleh. I have no motivation to study. I just finished my final essay on shes the man. Ya thats right. I wrote a serious, academic, 7 page paper on the funniest show of all time. And it is pretty good, not that i am bragging. psychology, chemistry, sports nutrition, and volleyball : after these tests I will be home free by next thursday. I am glad to be going home because I think that all of the girls in my hall are getting edgy and restless. We are slowly driving each other crazy.. It is weird that I might not ever see any of these girls again... I lived with them for nine months!! wow I cant believe that i have been in college for an entire year. I still feel like an insecure high school kid who doesnt know what is going on in the world. hopefully that will pass someday.

Adam got called on his mission to the Phillipines!! Too Cool. I am so excited for him. Not so much fun for me though. I spent the last three months doing nothing cuz he was at boot camp.. ugh. I am sad cuz we never got to really just hang out when he was home for a couple of days. Whenever we saw each other we had tons of people around so we couldnt really talk or anything. O well, i guess i will see him when he gets back from infantry.

Now that it is warm, I have to play lacrosse! I am going bananas. Everyone is playing basketball and soccer, but I hackin stink at those. I want to play a sport that i am good at soooo bad. I am planning on rounding up some lacrosse buddies to play when i get back to salt lake. I have also become addicted to the show Bones. It is on netflix and i cannot stop watching it! BAh no self control. I should be studying but i watch Bones instead.. hmmmm and a girl in my hall (Sydnee) loves Smallville now so we have to watch those episodes too. Smallville is on its ninth season and it still has one more to go! holy cow.

One more story (cuz it is buggin me) we gave mom a date night for her birthday. I was at home for the wedding and we cooked the parentals a dinner and sent them off to a movie. But Aubrey and Artem totally ditched and didnt help. (shawn was on his honeymoon, so no blame there) Devin helped cook but then he had to leave for a date, so guess who was stuck with cooking and cleaning the whole kitchen! bah me! I guess i shouldnt blame them, I was once (and still might be) a crazy teenager but still. It hurt mom's feelings that everyone just ditched out on their present to her. sigh... whatevs. now that i wrote it down, i might stop being so bugged about it. haha phew! relief

Okay so.. i am sick of writing. peace out

chemistry, mornings, and weddings

Greetings everyone, (if anyone actually reads this, haha!) well, It is now February 1st! One month of school done. Cool. I have fallen back in to the lovely life routine in Juniper Hall! Okay we will just take the elements of my hackin' life one at a time...
Classes:
My classes are way harder than last semester. I have to do a lot of reading. Chemistry is manageable. Only because I took it in high school. If anyone is planning on taking chemistry in college, I strongly recommend (no I command) you to take honors chemistry in high school. Holy cow that class is so much easier when I have already covered most of the concepts. I don't know how people handle it when they have never taken chemistry before. My volleyball class is hackin' sweet! We are just learning the basic techniques right now but it is totally fun. My professor actually played volleyball with my cousin, Anthony, in high school. So it is pretty weird when your professor tells you that he hung out and played tons of volleyball in your backyard a few years ago. What the heck are you supposed to say?! (O ya I bet I looked out the window and saw you in my backyard when I was like 12 and now you are my professor... uh...) awkward! Anyways, it is pretty funny. My institute class is amazing. I never knew the Pearl of Great Price was so cool!! Dude. So I got my first C on an assignment. We are supposed to blog about Shakespeare and then respond to another person's blog... I got a C on the response because mine was too short... I was like... In SHoCk! wow My mom will be so proud.... Maybe. O! and my psychology professor gives us take home tests and guess what?! The person who had my book before me highlighted and numbered all of the answers to the test! My professor has been giving the same test for a few semesters at least. Too cool. It took like twenty minutes to do the whole test! I had a test on the medical terminology of the male reporductive system... GROSS!! Ew TMI bleh scarred forever... boys are cahcah. Okay anyways I am handling my classes okay and staying pretty busy, because one does not want to be bored in Cedar City ( it causes automatic Insanity)
New Room Mate: Heidi
Heidi is a saint. ... She is also hormonally balanced (double Bonus!) Heidi is a dancer and a super nice girl. She is from St. Geezy. (St. George for all of those who do not know way cool Cedar City slang) She listens to good music and goes to bed at a decent time. Although she is a morning person, but that is good because I am working on being more productive in the mornings (AKA actually being awake in the mornings) So I found out that I could have stayed in my old room, and had it to myself. For the same cost! Dang... but it probably is a good thing that I moved because I would be even more antisocial. I would just like dwell in my cave and never come out or talk to people. Muahaha!
Family:
My brother is getting married on April 8th. I am so very excited. Chelsea and Shawn are gonna be the coolest funniest couple ever! Finally! Well... aubrey is playing club volleyball, That pretty much takes over your life, but it is fun. I am glad that I don't have to be on another club team though. Artem is playing soccer and just chillin.. He is the coolest little brother ever. His accent is the cutest thing. Haha! so we got a new dog, and it the most annoying thing ever. It just yips and barks. The breed name is even annoying...maltipoo? Really? holy crap... (and i mean crap, that dog is a crap machine) but i guess he is pretty cute. Okay well... I gotta go study for more tests. Hakuna Matata!

I write because Dani says so...

Hello hello hello. I have just finished my second day back at college. And I am beginning to adjust... ish. Well I guess I should start off where I ended in the last post.

Beginning of December
I went back to school, ready to kick some finals trash... I studied like a hungry chicken in Austrailia. I took my finals with a moderate amount of stress. I passed! yay. Except I got straight A's so that whole 4.0 pressure is still dragging me down... another semester without a social life... crap! But I have hard classes in the Spring so i dont have to worry about straight A's for long, (insert maniacal laugh) I said farewell to my room mate for good and packed my stuff for the three week winter break that was ahead of me. :)

Winter Break
Done! yesh. I was home, I could relax and I would not have to worry about working hard. (Five minutes after I got home) ....... My mom was pressuring me to get a job at that very second. So I applied for toyrus and got rejected! It was too late in the Christmas season... bah. But, luckily, my home teacher is the coolest ever and he got me a job at the Gateway mall. Guess what i did... I drove a golf cart all day. Totally cool! I would drive up and down the mall and offer rides to customers. My golfcarts name was Roy The JingleCart. (Insert Heroic Music) I got hourly pay and tips. It was a miracle job. I ran into some pretty hilarious people, but there was one problem. IT IS THE MIDDLE OF WINTER! I have never been so cold in my life, and that is saying something. My lacrosse season would start in January and go until May... We would practice in every weather imaginable. This job just had me sitting on a golf cart, I probably burrned a million calories from shivering so much. (and i even wore 5 layers of clothing) holy crap... but there was a dark side to this job... late at night when no one wanted a ride... i would have to direct traffic instead. ugh! People are so nasty in the parking garages. I swear I almost got hit a few times. I feel for those police officers and construction men... They put up with a lot of crap. These people were sooo stubborn, I would tell them to go to the other exit and get out instantly, but they insist on waiting in the fifteen minute line to get out of the other exit. I mean Come On People! I want you out of this garage as much as you want to get out. It is like the moment people walk into a parking garage, they are grumpy and enraged for absolutely no reason. The drivers are so stupid. We would have three exits open, and they would all line up in one exit... DUH! Well it was a really good job, when I didave frostbite. I met a lot of interesting people. Okay, other than my job (which was the majority of my break) I went to family parties and movies. Both were fun and good. My brother proposed... yaya im so excited. Adam left to boot camp, crap now i have no social life. And i spent 500 hackin dollars on books! AH!

Beginning of the Spring Semester at SUU
I have attended all of my classes now.... wow. It is a bit overwhelming. I have 18 credits and only one fun ish class. You know how you have some teachers who are excited to teach you things and you feel like you might actually keep up with the stuff in that class. I didnt have any of those teachers this semester. I got all of the teachers who try to scare the students to death, even scare them into working hard at the first of the semester... Well it worked, I am practically peeing my pants every ten minutes,,, no, every time I think about my professors my bladder is overreactive. bleh. Well, we shall see if these teachers are all bark and no bite... if not, the next time you will see me, I might just be a pile of chewed up flesh trying to learn chemistry. Well I have to go move in with my new roomie, wish me luck!!

The Semester is ending, Thanksgiving is on the way!

Hello Hello Hello,
Well the semester is so close to being done,... i can taste it! ya! I have already signed up for next semesters classes and i am good to go! ya! Okay let me think of some good stuff that happened lately. hmm....
Well i just got kicked out of a girl's room because i sat on her bed. That was pretty funny.
You wanna know a secret? I am getting kind of attached to my room. ah! this place is a dump, but I am okay with living here.... o ya so my room mate is moving back to salt lake at Christmas so i am going to get a new roomie next semester. huzzah! she seems really nice and cool. I am excited.
I can't wait for Thanksgiving, home sweet home.
So I just realized something... So Juniper Hall (where i live, also called the J Ghetto) it has a certain smell to it. Ugh it smells like fifty years of messy college students... ew. I just realized that i do not notice the scent anymore.... maybe i smell like it now! it is my nightmare come true! ahhhhhhh hysteria! well when i come home for thanksgiving i will have to get opinions on how i smell from people.... wow that was a weird conclusion to that thought process.
haha! so i made annoucements for FHE and i realized that i spelled ice cream sundaes wrong... i am such an idiot... haha o well! Well i have gotta study for a ridiculous test. later gator (ya i just totally said that... i am turning in to a southerner)

First Month of College...

holy crap I can't believe that it has been a whole month already! well... what has happened... My room mate has not slept in the room at all until this last week. She was here every night! she went home for the weekend so i got my privacy back. It was adjusting all over again. And it wasn't like she was here to sleep.. she was here all day and all night except for classes! holy cow! probably the hardest part was she went to bed at like nine o clock... Have you ever woken up a pregnant teenager when you are gettinng ready for bed and reading scriptures? Whew! wow... watch out.
Still haven't found a job... crap. all the jobs that are available are during my classes. geez! well my hall is crazy... what did we do last weekend you ask? We dressed up as superhero vigilantes and ran around the building! o ya Nikki and I are that cool. We are also playing some pretty good pranks... but for some reason everyone knows it is us that did it. Weird, we didnt act suspicious at all! ahahah! So ya that is what you do for fun in Cedar City...
So i am totally going up to USU next weekend for the football game! ya! we have like fifteen people going and we are all staying at this girls house. It is gonna be sweet! So there is a chance that i might sell my plasma for money so i have money to eat. Ya it sounds desperate and it is... dont judge! haha! so ya that is all that is happening... and some homework on the side... bleh
